I’m Sonia Kats a transgender queer refugee and I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart on behalf of our LGBTIQ+ refugee community. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
Life in the camp has become extremely difficult. Many of us struggle to access food clean water medication and safe shelter. Asking for help is not easy I honestly wish we didn’t have to but right now we are vulnerable and we cannot face this alone.
This rainy season has made our situation even harder. We are urgently trying to raise $700 to build safer shelters store enough food and provide mosquito nets to protect our community.
