We are LGBTQIA+ refugees trying to survive in a camp in South Sudan. We escaped violence, hate and rejection from our home countries hoping to find safety but life here is still so hard.
Some nights we sleep hungry. Some days we don’t know where our next meal will come from. We struggle without proper shelter, without medicine, without protection. We are tired, scared and trying so hard to hold on.
We haven’t given up on life but we cannot survive this alone.
